Finished Vision Screening Reports

Indio, California

On Saturday, February 11th, 2012: California Lions Friends in Sight did a vision screening in conjunction with Martha's Village & Kitchen in Indio, CA. We departed our Hemet staging area at 6:15am and Yucaipa at 6:30am. By 7: 45am we had arrived at the screening location and began to set up for the day.

The screening began at 8:30am and the last patient of the day was leaving with their recycled eyeglasses at 3:00pm. Listed below is a synopsis of the days' vision screening findings:

With the equipment and eyeglasses repacked we said our goodbyes and departed for our staging areas. We arrived at the Hemet and Yucaipa staging areas around 4:30pm.

The day had several new volunteers and was a great day to help people and teach the system at the same time. Listed below are those that participated directly in the vision screening:

Hemet Breakfast Lions Club: Bob Domengoni, Evelyn Domengoni, Carol Richlin, Barry Richlin and Dottie Allen.
San Jacinto Lions Club: George Reed and Ken Reed.
Rancho Cucamonga Host Lions Club: Scotty Barclay and Larry Williams.
Calimesa Breakfast Lions Club: Don Ranney, Dick Mottar, Ricardo Terrones, Dan Ogaz, Larry Rowell, Diane Rowell, Rob Manning, Steve Fedor and Brian Van Dusen, O.D.
Non-Lions: Jennifer Worley, David Riggs, Jennifer Denison, Ashley Denison and Carmen Delacruz.
