Finished Vision Screening Reports

Tecate, Mexico

On Saturday, November 12th, 2011: Friends in Sight did a vision screening in conjunction with the Tecate Lions Club of Tecate, Mexico. We departed our Yucaipa staging area at 5:00am and Hemet at 5:45am. By 8:15am we had arrived at our breakfast stop at Barrett's Junction. At 9:30am we crossed the border and were off to the clubhouse.

The vision screening began at 10:00am and the last patient of the day was leaving with their recycled eyeglasses at 3:00pm. Listed below is a synopsis of the day's findings:

After a great meal and hospitality from the Tecate Lions Club we departed for the border at 4:00pm. We finally crossed the border after 90 minutes in line. By 6:00 pm we arrived at our pit stop in Rancho San Diego. A few minuets later we were off to our Hemet staging. We arrived in Hemet at 8:00pm and Yucaipa at 8:30pm.

It was a great day and turn out considering it poured rain all day in Tecate. Listed below are those that participated directly in the vision screening:
